Free Support Organisations in South Africa

The programs provide free services to the beneficiaries of these grants. They will not charge you for anything.

Black Sash

Paralegal and Advocacy Services for SASSA applicants and recipients. Free counseling services on matters such as appeals, rejected applications and problems associated with grants.

National Debt Advisors (NDA)

Financial counseling services are offered to poor income earners who are facing challenges in managing their debts.

Legal Aid South Africa

Legal aid to individuals who cannot afford to hire an attorney, including assistance with appeals regarding SASSA and social grant matters.

South African Human Rights Commission

In case you feel your rights as a grantee have been violated, you can seek assistance from the SAHRC for investigating the situation.

Gift of the Givers

Emergent humanitarian aid like food, medical support, and disaster relief to vulnerable communities.

NASASA (National Stokvel Association of SA)

Assistance and registration of savings groups in the community (stokvels). Prevents frauds amongst the members of the group.
